MAMMOUTH

We prefer to call it Mammouth, but you may also know it as Hannibal. Either way, this sugary mix of tomatoes, onions, and secret spices is one of our favorite sauces in Belgium, especially with a fricadelle or in a mitraillette.

Don’t know what these are? DIKNEK can only recommend you to go as fast as you can to your nearby fritkot, you’re in for a treat!

Anyway, we can use the name Mammouth, we even found remains of a real one in the town of Dendermonde, definitely worth a visit!

More About MAMMOUTH

Dendermonde is at the mouth of the river Dender, hence its name.
But to think that thousands of years ago some glorious Mammouths were being chased by a silly DIKNEK just puts joys on our faces.

We can clearly imagine him being challenged by his Neander-fries buddies, taunting him and pushing him to grab some Mammouth hair…and we all known DIKNEK would not only agree at the blink of an eye, but he would also most definitely be happy to take up on the challenge.

This is DIKNEK: no shame, no limit, relentless…he eats Mammouth every chance he gets!
